Business in Lockdown

Many businesses are still reeling in shock from the loss of their business income overnight or the drop off of work, due to the current UK (global) situation.

Getting your ducks in a row

Use this time wisely, now that acceptance has settled in. Use the time to think creatively about what you can do better, differently, or use the time to completely re-invent how you do business.

Sharpen your tools

Maybe now is the time to think about new services, new products, a new way of working (taking your business online rather than face to face interactions). Now is the time, to ‘sharpen your tools’.

Prepare (fully) for the future. You will never have the luxury of this much time again!

Evaluate & Research

Evaluate what you do, what you charge, re-research your market, check out what is happening in the US in your industry (they’re often ahead of our curve), take inspiration from others you admire and allow yourself time to dream.

Follow your dream

Maybe now is the time to follow a long held dream and do something completely different. Use the time to get your ducks in a very tidy row, and ‘knuckle under’ and do the jobs you don’t really enjoy. Get them out of the way now, so that you have more creative thinking time later and they don’t bog you down later.

Make your heart sing!

Streamline your business, to get it fighting fit and lean, or axe parts of it completely. Make sure you follow your dream and make sure that the future business you have, is what makes your heart sing. If you truly love what you do, you will become successful and create the right positive energy to take it forward!
